Fos Mou means ‘My Light’ in Greek. Fos was also my very first word, a word that would later hold an even deeper meaning. When I lost my granddad, my papou, I found myself standing by his grave, thinking about his life, his memories, and the legacy he left behind. He was my light. At his eulogy, I stood in front of our family and friends at the church and made him a promise. I promised that his legacy will live on. That promise became the seed for Fos Mou a place to help families preserve the memories, stories, and lives of the people they love, so their light can continue to shine for generations.
